Vision and Values
Henry Maynard Primary: Vision and Values.
At Henry Maynard Primary, we are committed towards building a community where success is achievable for all. We have high expectations of our school community, with effort and achievement praised and celebrated.
Our school community created a set of values which are at the heart of our school vision, culture and curriculum. These are: Community, Creativity and Ambition. Our vision is for all children to reach and expand their potential, and to prepare them to become productive, responsible, ethical, creative and compassionate members of the community.
Community
We are committed to supporting pupils to be well balanced and healthy individuals, who feel safe and valued as part of a caring community that celebrates success. We encourage all pupils to develop respectful relationships to enable them to listen to others and articulate their own responses in order to share and develop learning.
Creativity
We are committed to supporting pupils to become independent thinkers who are able to seek solutions creatively and cooperatively. We strive for all of our children to develop into curious, happy and confident individuals with a love for learning that follows them into their future. Our pupils will be resilient enough to take risks in their learning and keep trying when things are difficult.
Ambition
We aim for all of our children to reach their full potential and aspire to achieve excellence in everything they do. We are committed to supporting all pupils to experience and actively participate in an enjoyable and challenging curriculum with high expectations for all.
