Forest School
At Henry Maynard, using our outdoor learning spaces is really important to us. Behind our Reception classes is a hilltop classroom which is home to our Forest School. Frances Burley from Strawberry Harlequin Forest School is a Level 3 Forest School practitioner and a former classroom teacher. She captures our children's imagination weekly with her creative use of the space and surrounding woodland. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of FOHMs, we have been able to provide EYFS with weekly Forest School sessions for the entire year and every year group from 1-6, a six week block.
